Cub Mobile Race

Due to the injury situation last year, we have made a few modifications to the designs. Eric Weiss has graciously created an updated design (doc found here).

Key Info:

  • The race is scheduled for Sunday May 17 at 1:00 at Canyon Ridge Middle school and we are in the process of finalizing details.
  • Wheels – I have ordered 10 sets of wheels. So if anyone in your den needs wheels kits, have them contact me directly. The price is $32 plus shipping (probably another $3-5). We will have these early next week.
  • Quick note for the new Tiger leaders – Should everyone build a car? The answer is no they do not have to. Many of the dens have built one or 2 cars for the den and all of the boys ride them. So it is up to you on how you want to do it.

2009 Friends of Scouting Breakfast

As many of you know, the Boy Scouts is a not-for profit organization. 75% of the operating expense of the area Boy Scouts is covered through our fees, popcorn sales, camping fees, etc., but the remaining 25% is funded via donations through the Friends of Scouting program. Scouting does not receive partner funding from the United Way, state or federal government and relies on the local community and local scouts to help raise this remaining 25% of their funding.

This is where we come in. Our local scouting program needs our help to raise money.

You, your family and friends are cordially invited to attend the
